Detox destinations in China getting rare

With China’s highest forest coverage rate of 69.62 per cent, Zhangjiajie is known as “Mother Nature’s Oxygen Bar”.


These kind of Oxygen Bars are getting very rare in China because of the heavy pollution everywhere.


This Golden Week of China´s National Day is becoming the second largest global migration after the Spring Festival. The period of 15 days before Lunar New Year´s Day and lasts around 40 has been called the largest annual human migration in the world. More than 2,9 billion passanger - journeys were calculated in China in 2016.


Increasing amounts of dwellers living in highly polluted metropolitan areas in China are choosing to travel to health trips overseas. Several countries already brand themselves as health tourism destinations. For example clean air can be important part of the rehabilitation process when patients stay in the countries they choose for their medical operations.
